New Year - Same Intro...

Hey, me again—Broker Bob from Yacht Partners! 🚤⛵

There’s something about January that makes everyone look forward. New goals, new plans, and (if you ask me) new adventures on the horizon.

And as we sail into 2026, I thought I’d share a few insights from right here in the Greek yachting scene — what’s trending, what’s changing, and what it all means if you’re thinking about buying or selling a yacht this year.

⚙️ Hybrid Power Is Here to Stay

Greenline Yachts really set the tone these past few seasons, and 2026 is only going to strengthen that direction. Owners love the silence of electric cruising, the fuel savings, and the reduced maintenance.

For Greece — with short island hops, calm seas, and sunshine — hybrid propulsion just makes sense. We expect to see more new builds and even used hybrids hitting the market soon.

The Brokerage Market Is Balancing Out

After a few hectic post-Covid years, the yacht market is settling into a healthier rhythm. Prices remain strong, but buyers are becoming more selective. That means presentation, condition, and correct pricing matter more than ever — and that’s exactly where a good broker makes the difference.

At Yacht Partners, we continue to see solid demand for quality yachts under 50 feet and good momentum for Greenline’s hybrid range.

🌍 Greece Is on the Map — Big Time

Every year, more yacht owners are shifting their homeport to Greece. Lower mooring costs, top-tier marinas, and effortless island cruising make it a win on every level.

For anyone considering relocating their yacht from other Mediterranean countries, 2026 is the year to do it.

🧭 4. Real People, Real Partnerships

I’ve always believed yachting should be personal — not transactional. The more digital the world becomes, the more people value genuine connection, trust, and follow-up.

That’s why, here at Yacht Partners, my focus for 2026 remains the same: transparency, service, and keeping that local, hands-on touch alive.

In short:

2026 is shaping up to be a strong, steady year for yacht ownership in Greece. The opportunities are here — and so am I.

If your New Year’s resolution involves a little more freedom and a lot more sea, let’s start planning your course.

Fair winds,

Broker Bob
